Episode 82: Conan one shot part 2, more fighting Picts

Today the heroes attempt to warn the settlers that the Picts are coming by recreating Paul Reveres’ ride through Massachusetts only on foot and through the Conajohara wilderness. There’s more sword play and fewer British redcoats. The GM shares some ideas on PC death at the end.

Episode 80: Workshop: Session Zero

Today we discuss the importance of having a good session zero. Session zero is when you lay out everyone’s expectations and meld the player group together. We carry the conversation a little bit farther afield to discuss when you should hold another session zero and the sorts of problems you can encounter if you don’t get everyone on the same page about what game you are playing.
