I will be doing a panel on running role playing games, Gamemastering 101 at the Atlanta Science Fiction and Fantasy Expo at North Dekalb Mall on Saturday March 11th at 4pm in Panel 1. (I could’ve sworn that said March 4th last time I looked at it, oh well.) Come out and ask me questions.

Today we discuss the importance of having a good session zero. Session zero is when you lay out everyone’s expectations and meld the player group together. We carry the conversation a little bit farther afield to discuss when you should hold another session zero and the sorts of problems you can encounter if you don’t get everyone on the same page about what game you are playing.
